Nicole has worked as a nurse for 14 years now, fueling her passion to help others live their healthiest lives. Since becoming a nurse, Nicole’s dream of crossing borders to help those in need led her to Honduras where she works alongside Just One International to serve the community of Siguatepeque. Immediately upon her first visit, she felt deeply connected to the rich culture and warm people, who welcomed her with open arms. For Nicole, Honduras has grown to be a second home. 

In addition to caring for the community's physical needs, Nicole is avid about tending to their spiritual needs as well, pouring out the love of Jesus whenever she can. Nicole often comments that this community, from the kids and scholars to the adults and families, is full of hope, which is simply infectious to be a part of. There is no doubt that she is committed to building up the future leaders of Honduras.

Nicole carries this philosophy of care into her life as a wife and mother to three daughters. As a family, the Zieglers love to be outside, enjoying God’s creation together. In addition to being a mother, wife, nurse, and student, Nicole finds time for reading and running, a few of her many passions.
