Kari Schacke is a mother, registered nurse, and long-time entrepreneur with a knack for organization and administrative oversight. In 1998, Kari and her husband, Dan, opened Home Comfort, an HVAC business that grew and flourished over 25 years of investment. In 2022, the two sold Home Comfort to invest more time in their family and community, a job Kari takes seriously. Throughout her life, Kari has been committed to serving those in need, as James 1:27 says, opening her home to over 17 foster kids over the years.

Kari was introduced to Just One in 2021 and shortly after, began sponsoring a scholar. Today, Kari is deeply involved in following that scholar’s growth and success. With her first visit to Honduras in February 2024, Kari fell in love with Honduras and its community. It’s safe to say that Kari is now part of the Just One family.

In her spare time, Kari enjoys time in the sun and spending time with her 4 adult children.
